2025 Spring Program

Program dates: May 1 - July 24, 2025

​Over the course of a 3-month program, 10 participants will plan and lead a live event by learning about key areas of industry operation.

​

​In addition to organizing their live event, participants will attend workshops and mentorship conversations 3 times a week to enhance skills, learn about the industry, and connect with their team.

​

The first month of the program focuses on team building and leadership by providing workshops that focus on you as a leader and your love for live music. You will also be introduced to the numerous roles within the industry.

 

The second month is all about learning the ins and outs of the live music business. You will have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals who will share their stories and provide insights into their roles, and tips and tricks on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

 

The last month will consist of mentorships. This is an opportunity for you to build stronger connections with industry experts. You will be matched with a mentor who will support you on the creation of your live music show! Additionally, you will have time to independently connect with your mentor to broaden your network, learn new skills, and apply those skills in real time as you get ready for your show!

Participants in the Her.Stage Collective mentorship program will receive:

• 12 weeks of in-person workshops with Canadian music industry professionals (promoters, booking agents, producers, tour managers, venue reps, light & sound, etc.)

• The chance to apply learnings from the program by putting on a live music event at a venue in Toronto (booking artist, promoting, etc.)

• A 1-on-1 mentor currently working in the Canadian music industry whose skillset matches your goals

• A one-year Premium Membership to Women in Music Canada
